The force produces when current flows through a conductor kept in a magnetic field is know as Lorentz force. the direction of the force can be reversed if the direction of current and magnetic field is reversed.....
But there is a condition that force will only produce when the direction of current is perpendicular to the direction of magnetic field , no force will produce if the current flows parallel to magnetic field....
Hope for the best..............

Answer:

Lorentz force, the force exerted on a charged particle q moving with velocity v through an electric E and magnetic field B. The entire electromagnetic force F on the charged particle is called the Lorentz force (after the Dutch physicist Hendrik A. Lorentz) and is given by F = qE + qv × B.
