(1)favorable. The word favorable describes something positive or promising, such as a two-thumbs-up movie review or the perfect conditions for golf. When things are going well, or in your favor, they're favorable.
(2)Unfavourable conditions or circumstances cause problems for you and reduce your chances of success. Unfavourable economic conditions were blocking a recovery of the insurance market.

favourable conditions are those in which an organism can live,reproduce.... or in other words, favourable conditions are suitable for the organism....
whereas unfavourable conditions are dependent on the environment....
lets take an example-
1)LIZARDS undergo hibernation(long winter sleep) becoz winters are unfavourable for the lizards
2)now u can think same thing for the frogs undergoing aestivation......
3)FUNGI forming cyst around its body(eg. of an unfavourable condition)
