Hello,
This is quite a good question, and proves you are indeed a serious student of physics. Here is your answer.
'Light' indeed is a very unique thing in this universe. It has very tangible characteristics of a particle, as well as a wave. The scattering of light refers to the refraction of light, causing white light to split into explicitly different wavelengths, which contain particles of light or energy 'packets' called quanta. These energy packets are referred to as photons. Different wavelengths of light have different amounts of energy in the 'packets' or photons.
These different energies bend in a different angle, causing them to split.
Hope you liked the answer. Please mark my answer as brainliest! Thanks a lot!

Light is scattered when it falls on various types of suspended particles in its path.Depending on the size of particles , the scattering can be of white sunlight as such or of the coloured light which make up the white sunlight.......✔✔
