> From each testis a vas defrence arise. Both vas Defrence are united. In 7th segment and Open into ejaculatory duct. It transport the sperms.


♦ Mushroom Glands

> Mushroom glands are present in 6th segment of male cockroaches.

➡ M.G consists two types of tubules...

A) small tubules/ utricular reservoirs ➡ S.T are present in the centre of mushroom glands. They provide nutrition to sperms.

B) Long tubules/ Utricular majores ➡ L.T present toward periphery of M.G. They secrete 1st covering of spermatophore( Innermost Covering ).

The $VAS$ $DEFERENS$  also called ductus deferens , is part of the male reproductive system of many vertebrates; these vasa transport sperm from the epididymis to the ejaculatory ducts in anticipation of ejaculation. It is a partially coiled tube which exits the abdominal cavity through the inguinal canal.
During ejaculation, the smooth muscle in the walls of the vas deferens contracts reflexively, thus propelling the sperm forward. This is also known as peristalsis. The sperm is transferred from the vas deferens into the urethra, collecting secretions from the male accessory sex glands such as the seminal vesicles, prostate gland and the bulbourethral glands, which form the bulk of semen.
