Anything that occupy space & has mass is called matter. Everything in this universe is made of materials which scientist has named "mater". Matter is made up of very tiny particles. Particle of matter have space between them & are continuously moving. Particle of matter attract each other. States of matter are solid, liquid & gas. Plasma & BEC are also the state of matter.
