:-noble gases are inert gases which are unreactive .

:-they are stable because their outermost shell is completely filled.

:-it were found in group 18 of the periodic table

;-examples are:- helium,xenon,radon,krypton,argon,neon etc

:-they are almost gases

:-they are monoatomic

any of the gaseous elements helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon, occupying Group 0 (18) of the periodic table. They were long believed to be totally unreactive but compounds of xenon, krypton, and radon are now known as the noble gases.
