Molarity (M) is defined as the number of moles of solute per liter of solution. ... Molality (m) is defined as the number of moles of solute per kilogram of solvent. ... Although their spellings are similar, molarity and molality cannot be interchanged.

Normality = gram equivalent weight of solute/volume of solution in litres
gram equivalent weight = weight/equivalent weight
For Acid
Example H2SO4 :- 98/2 = 49
For base
Example Ca(OH)2 :- (40+32+2)/2
For salt
Example Al2(SO4)3 :- 2Al^3+ and 3SO4^2-
Molecular weight/(number of cation x valency)
= (2 x 27 + 3 x 32 + 16 x 12)/(2 x 3)
= 57
Hope this helps you
