Osmosis is the movement of water molecules from an area of high water concentration to an area of low water concentration through a partially/selectively permeable membrane.
When our digestive system brook down food using mechanical and chemical processes, our body is left with the key nutrients it needs to survive.
Osmosis allows our body to absorb these nutrients into the intestines and individual cells.
