OZONE IS NOTHING BUT THE LAYER WHICH COVERS THE EARTHS AND SURROUNDS IT TO GIVE PROTECTION FROM THE SUNS DIRECT AND HARM GIVING uv RAYS(ULTRA VIOLENT).it is very bad to humans or even other life forms on earths when the direct sun rays hits them.for example ,if the rays directly hits a person,he or she can get skin cancers or other problems which are chronic.this has many bad effects.so ,the ozone layer resent as a covering umbrella for our planet earth, gets the rays simplified and non harming to the living organisms on the earth.this is why ozone plays a vital role now.but ,the emissions from many places which are gases, destroy the ozone slowly which can cause a very big trouble later.

Simple answer:
Ozone is a molecule formed by three atoms of oxygen. Ozone is a deadly poison. However, at higher levels it shields the Earth’s surface from ultraviolet radiation from the sun. This radiation is highly damaging to organisms. It can cause skin cancer, permanent or temporary blindness, lung diseases and many other diseases.
