Photosynthesis is a process in which plants synthesise their own food with the help of inorganic substances such as carbon dioxide, water using sunlight as a source of energy in the presence of chlorophyll.

The chemical equation of photosynthesis is ;:-

CO2+ H2O ------------ C6H12O6 ( glucose ) + H2O + O2.
