Answer:

Please follow me

Explanation:

  • . Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce glucose from carbon dioxide and water. This glucose can be converted into pyruvate which releases adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by cellular respiration. Oxygen is also formed.

  • Photosynthesis takes in the carbon dioxide produced by all breathing organisms and reintroduces oxygen into the atmosphere

Hope this will help you

Answer:

Food making process in plants

The leaves have a green pigment callled chlorophyll. It helps leaves to capture the energy of the sunlight. This energy is used to synthesise (prepare)food from carbon dioxide and water. since the synthesis of food occurs in the presence of sunlight, it is called Photosynthesis ( Photo means light and synthesis means to combine) . So we find that chlorophyll , sunlight, carbon dioxide and water are necessary to carry out the process of photosynthesis.

This process can be represented by an equation :

Carbon dioxide+ water➡️sunlight/chlorophyll ➡️ Carbohydrate + oxygen
