Prejudice is a preconception or a belief without proof whereas discrimination is an unjust treatment of a person or community based on factors such as race, gender, complexion etc.
E.g. Women are prejudiced to be interested in cooking.
Women are discriminated in rural areas that they cannot work equal to a man and so paid less.
