what is prime number?


chandanmaurya: A Prime Number can be divided evenly only by 1, or itself.
And it must be a whole number greater than 1.

a prime number is a number which has no other factors other than 1 and the number itself. eg. 2 is a prime number as it has only 1 and 2 as its factors
