proton-a stable subatomic particle occurring in all atomic nuclei, with a positive electric charge equal in magnitude to that of an electron.

neutron-a subatomic particle of about the same mass as a proton but without an electric charge, present in all atomic nuclei except those of ordinary hydrogen.

electron-a stable subatomic particle with a charge of negative electricity, found in all atoms and acting as the primary carrier of electricity in solids.

proton - an atom is electrically neutral .but the electrons present in it A negatively charged particles in the atom must also consists some positive charged particles so that the overall charged on it became zero.

neutrons -the electron has negligible mass but except in this case on hydrogen it found that the mass of an atom is greater than that of the proton in it .Further unaccounted mass it is a = 2 or a multiple of the mass of a Proton .
