The radioactive substances emit the radioactive rays like alpha ray, beta rays, and gamma rays.

Due to the emission the substances losses it’s mass in some extent. It is called as the radioactive decay.

It can be calculated by half-life of a radioactive substance. Half life is the time taken for decaying a radioactive substance to half of the original amount.
