HEY MATE,

REFRACTION - WHEN A LIGHT RAY ENTER FROM ONE TRANSPARENT MEDIUM TO ANOTHER TRANSPARENT MEDIUM IS CALLED REFRACTION OF LIGHT.

1/V - 1/U = 1/F.

AND ABSOLUTE REFRACTIVE INDEX.

THE RATIO OF SIN I TO RATIO OF SIN R IS ALWAYS CONSTANT.

SIN I/SIN R = CONSTANT.

THIS IS CALLED REFRACTIVE INDEX OF ONE MEDIUM WITH RESPECT OF ANOTHER MEDIUM. IF ONE OUT OF THE TWO MEDIUM ONE IS VACUUM OR AIR THIS CONSTANT IS CALLED ABSOLUTE REFRACTIVE.

A.R.I = SPEED OF LIGHT IN AIR OR VACUUM/SPEED OF LIGHT IN GIVEN MEDIUM.

I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU...

PLS MARK AS BRAINLIEST.

Answer: Bending of light at the boundary of two medium is called refraction. The light bending ability of that particular medium is called refractive index. ... Absolute refractive index: When the light is going from vacuum to another medium, then the value of refractive index is called the absolute refractive index
