Reproduction describes the production of eggs and sperm and the processes leading to fertilization. The reproductive system consists of the primary sex organs, or gonads (testes in males and ovaries in females), which secrete hormones and produce gametes (sperm and eggs). Accessory reproductive organs include ducts, glands, and the external genitalia.

Hey!

Reproduction refers to the process of giving birth to a new one or producing copies.

Reproduction can be classified into two types:

<> Sexual Reproduction - reproduction takes place with the help of the male and the female gametes.
Eg: reproduction in mammals and other animals.

<> Asexual Reproduction - reproduction takes place with just one parent or gamete.
Eg: budding, spore formation, vegetative reproduction

Hope this helps..!!
