Types of resources

I. NATURAL RESOURCES

Resources that are drawn from the nature are called natural resources. Natural resources are classified into different groups. Level of development and use; origin; stock and distribution.

On the basis of development and use, resources can be divided into potential and actual resources.

Actual resources are those resources whose quantity is known.

Potential resources are those whose entire quantity may not be known and these are not being used at present. These resources could be used in the future.

2.Based on their origin, resources can be biotic and abiotic

Abiotic resources are nonliving

biotic resources are living.

3. On the basis of stock it is divided into two, renewable and non-renewable resources.

renewable resources are those which get renewed or replenished quickly

non renewable are those which takes time to be renewed.

4.The distibution of natural resources cab be ubiquitous and localised.

Resources that are found everywhere like the air we breathe is known as ubiquitous.

But, those which are found only in certai places are called localised.

II HUMAN MADE RESOURCES

Natural resources that are used by the people to make bridge, vehicles etc. are called human made resources.

III HUMAN RESOURCES

It refers to the number (quantity) and abilities (mental and physical) of the people

A resource is a source or supply from which a benefit is produced. ... Examples of renewable resources are air,water,wind,solar energy etc.

There are three types of resources

1. NATURAL RESOURCES => The resources which is provided by the nature is called natural resources.

eg - mountain, rivers, woids.....etc

There two types of natural resources

A]. Renewable resources - the resource which can be repeated and which can be reproduce

B]. Non-renewable response - The resources which cannot be reproduce again and again if once exhausted

2. HUMAN RESOURCES :- The department of a business or organizations provided by humans are known as human resources.

eg. - Bank, schools....... etc

3. HUMAN MADE RESOURCES :- the resources which is produced by human is called human made resources

eg - roads, machine......etc
