ANSWER....

Sexual reproduction is the mode of reproduction in which new individuals are formed from two parents.

it involves two parents. fusion between male and female gamete gave rise to new individual.

Why sexual reproduction is necessary??

1. to incorporate variations in species which in turn ensures survival of species.

2. each individual in a species has its own uniqueness and identity.

During sexual reproduction, genetic material from both parent is taken. this result in of a spring has similarities to both parent but are not an exact copy of either one.

hope it helps
thanks...
