here is your answer mate

A soda-acid extinguisher was patented in the U.S. in 1881 by Almon M. Granger. His extinguisher used the reaction between sodium bicarbonate solution and sulfuric acid to expel pressurized water onto a fire. A vial of concentrated sulfuric acid was suspended in the cylinder.

Answer:

Hey mate here is ur answer

Explanation:

Soda acid fire extinguisher is based on principle of reaction between baking soda and Sulphuric acid.

Whenever Baking soda reacts with Sulphuric acid it results in formation of Sodium Sulphate along with H2O and CO2.

On which CO2 forms a blanket around the fire and then fire is extinguished.

The reaction is as follows

2NaHCO3 +H2SO4-------> Na2SO4 + 2H2O + CO2

I hope you will find it useful and if you do so then please mark it as brainliest
