Defination---
Simply the wearing of side by water or wind is called soil erosion.

Naturally soil from Hills gets washed away due to rain.Soil is also blown away in Plains And The Hills by the force of winds.It takes thousands of years for Rock to turn into soil but soil erosion takes place in a very short period of time In it the top soil is carried away during soil erosion which causes plants to become weak and die as the top soil contains moisture and nutrients which are necessary for the growth of the plant there can be a shortage of food it affect the climate too.
