Stationary wave:

A standing wave, also recognized as a stationary wave, is a wave which oscillates in time but whose peak amplitude shape does not move in space.

Nodes and antinodes of stationary wave:

The nodes are formed at locations where destructive interference transpires. Anti nodes, on the other hand, are formed at locations where constructive interference arises.

Intensity of stationary wave:

π/2 is the intensity of stationary wave.
