sublimation is a process by which a solid substance directly changes into gases and gases into solids.
For separating ammonium chloride with salt, first we take the china dish and pit the mixture into it. cover the dish with a funnel upside down. Then cover the mouth of funnel with the cotton and heat the china dish. Now the ammonium chloride directly changes into vapour and gets attached with the surface of the funnel. Thus, the mixture gets separated
