It is the part of attachment of the two pubic bones. A hip bone had ilium, iliac crest, ischium and pubis. Two hip bones unite and form the pelvic girdle. The pubis is present inferiorly and the place where the two hip bones unite inferiorly is called Pubis symphysis.
