The taxonomical aids are as follows:-

1. Herbarium:- It stores preserved and dried specimens of plants which were collected.

2. Botanical gardens:- It comes under ex-situ conservation. It consists of collections of plants obtained from different places.

3. Zoological parks:- This is the place where animals are kept in a protected in artificial environment which resembles natural habitats.

4. Museum:- Place used for strong, preservation and exhibition of both plants and animals.

5. Flora:- Place consists of an area containing only plants.

6. Manuals:- List of plants grown in a particular area.

7. Monograph:- Contains information of only one taxon.

8. Catalogues:- Consist of alphabetic arrangement of species considering their future.
