before answering ur question I would like to say some thing about science
science is all about questioning. Science is a knowledge based on hypotheses, ... findings until a product, for sensible benefits of all become practical.
it is the process of acquiring knowledge about the world that how something behave what is the reason behind that etc.. and this process has been going over centuries and will continue forever.
because knowledge can never be completed the more we discover the more questions we find and the answer will be which are not known.
now ur answer::: without scientific knowledge would not have had computers or the Internet and you would not have been able to write this question here.
the application of scientific knowledge helps to satisfy many basic human needs and improve living standards. Finding a cure for cancer and a clean form of energy are just two topical examples. science is often justified to the public as driving economic growth, which is seen as a return-on-investment for public funding. During the past few decades, another goal of science has emerged: to find a way to rationally use natural resources to guarantee their continuity and the continuity of humanity itself an endeavour that is currently referred to sustainability
