In this we have only divide the result by 1/2. So that we will get half result means result of semicircle.

For example:

if the radius of semicircle is 7m than if we find area than the result = 1/2×πr²

= 1/2×22/7×7²

= 1/2×22×7

= 11×7

= 77m²

if the radius is 7m than find its circumference.

= 1/2×2πr

= 1/2×2×22/7×7

= 1/2×2×22

= 22m
