this polygon can be decided into 6 equilateral triangle each with sides 2cm.

area of an equilateral triangle is v

 (\sqrt{3}  \div 4) \times a  ^{2}

applying eqn with a = 2

therefore root 3/4*4 = root 3

since there are 6 equilateral triangles

area =

6 \sqrt{3}

hope you are helpful with the answer. if so , please mark it as brainliest

To find the the area of regular polygon =(ap)/2 where a is apothem and p is perimeter.To find apothem divide one of the length by 2 times the tangent of 180 degrees divide by the number of sides (n)
