Sodium Sulphate reacts with Barium Chloride to form Sodium Chloride which is an aqueous solution and Barium Sulphate which is solid.


Barium Sulphate is a white crystalline solid.


It is insoluble in water.


Thus it formed as the precipitate in the Sodium Chloride solution.


The equation for the reaction is :


Na₂SO₄ (aq) + BaCl₂ (aq) -------> 2 NaCl (aq) + BaSO₄(s) ( white precipitate)
