Pathogens can best be defined as infectious agents. They are a kind of  biological agents that causes diseases or illness to its host. The term Pathogens is most often used for the ones that disrupt the normal working of a multi-cellular animal or plant. However, pathogens also have the ability to affect the working of uni-cellular organisms as well. There are several ways that pathogens attack its host. In the past, some pathogens have been found to be responsible for massive amounts of casualties and have had numerous effects on afflicted groups.
