it is the power of hydrogen.
it has a scale of 0-14.
if the measure of ph of a substance is less than 7 , it is said to be acidic.
n if it is 7 it is said to be neutral.
n if it is more than 7 it is said to be basic.

pH value of substance tells us how much acidic or basic a substance is. 0 to 6 means acidic, 7 means neutral and 8 to 14 means basic.
