What is the difference between an object and its reflection? What causes the difference?

An object is real and of a definite size which can be touched by a human. On the other hand, reflection can be erected, virtual, backward or magnified.

The reflection is same as the object. Like if we see our self in the mirror then you are seeing the image in the mirror which is virtual but you are an object and your mirror image is a reflection.

While the object and the mirror image are the same but these are different in nature.
