What is the difference between an observation and an inference?

When you do something with thatobservation, like draw a conclusion or offer an explanation or decide that a chemical reaction occurred, then you are making an inference. Theinference may or may not be a correct one. Correctness is not what makes the difference between observationand inference.

observation-means what you conclude from experiment and
inference -means what you understood by experiment.
