Bolshevik : bolshevik believed in a radical. Bolshevik literally means majority. Bolshevik were under their leader lenin consituents a majority of the socialists. They wanted work for revolution. The favored a displined party, they control the members and quality of its members. They wanted to make the party instrument for bringing about the revolution.
Mensheviks: the mensheviks represented a minority group under the leadership of Alexander kerenskii. They believed in gradual change and establishment of a parliamentary form of government like that of France and Britain. They favored a party which was open to all and to work within the system
