What is the difference between carriers and vectors?

Hi friend,
Carriers -
1. An organism that harbours germs of a diasese but does not suffer from the disease is termed as carrier.
2. Example: housefly
Vectors-
1. Vectors are organisms which spread the pathogen from an infected person to a healthy person . Usually a part of the lifecycle of pathogen is spent in the body of vector.
2. Example: Female anopheles mosquito spreads malaria .
