Fragmentation or clonal fragmentation in multicellular or colonial organisms is a form of asexual reproduction or cloning in which an organism is split into fragments. Each of these fragments develop into matured, fully grown individuals that are clones of the original organism.

fragmentation-- multicellular organism with simple body organisation such as filamentoud algae ,spirogyra breajs upbinto two or more small pieces or fragments upon maturation
Regenration-- is the ability of a fully differentiated organism to give rise to new infividual from its body parts
