When a liquid (transparent) is seen in a glass it form a meniscus...
Moreover glass has a refractive index range of 1.5 - 1.9 where as the plastic can range from 1.74

1.glass is a transparent substance. whereas plastic is not a transparent substance. 2.Plastics burn easily whereas glass is not burn.
