What is the difference between homologous series and homogeneous series with examples

There is nothing I have read about "Homogeneous Series" (I am a class 12 pass out).
May be something exists or you are talking about homogenous mixture.

Homologous series is a series of organic compound having similar formula usually differ by a -CH2- .

For example-
1- alkanes(homologous series with general formula C(n)H(2n+2)

2- Alkenes(CnH2n)

3-Alkynes(CnH(2n-2))
