Chrome is light years ahead of IE. It runs Webkit which actually supports standards like HTML5 & CSS3. Chrome has a superior JavaScript interpreter which makes Chrome more speedy. Each tab in Chrome is a different CPU process, meaning if flash or a page crashes, just that tab crashes. It doesn't bring down the whole browser. Chrome also has some cool feature like bookmark syncing. Extensions. Tab pinning along with application support to treat we apps as desktop apps using a Chrome powered site-specific browser as well as desktop notifications. & My personal favorite is the streamlining of the search and address bars.
