tendon is tough and inelastic. it contains parallel bundles of white collagen fibres.
yellow elastin fibres are absent. fibroblasts occur in rows. it connects a muscle to a bone.

ligament is strong and elastic. bundles of white collagen fibres are arranged in various directions. yellow elastin fibres occur good in number. fibroblasts lie scattered. it joins a bone with another bone.
