Restricted sampling occurs when additional controls are placed on the process of element selection. Simple random sampling is that form of probability sampling which is unrestricted and in which each member of the population has an equal chance of being selected

Difference between restricted random sampling method and unrestricted random sampling method:

Restricted random sampling method: Restricted Random Sampling is a technique for testing which is depicted as a tradeoff between precise examining and stratified arbitrary inspecting.

It has less potential for being inclination than efficient testing and furthermore it maintains a strategic distance from the useful issues related with stratified irregular inspecting

Unrestricted random sampling method: The strategy for Unrestricted random sampling chooses all or various units with equivalent likelihood and with equivalent measures of substitution.

Since units are chosen with a substitution, as we know, a unit can be chosen for the example more than once. The normal number of choices or hits for every unit rises to n/N when testing without stratification.

This is the greatest contrast among Restricted and unlimited.
