What is the difference between secularism of USA and that of india?

Secularism means that state(here state means nation) will not promote any religion. The primary difference between the American and Indian secularism is that in the American secularism, the state does not intervene in religious affairs, but in the Indian secularism, the state can intervene and it often does.
