Difference between simple plurality and majority voting system:-

  • Simple plurality and majority elections systems are the two processes implemented in selecting candidates as representatives.

  • Simple plurality is a cheap and most understanding and easy method of electing persons.

  • In this process person can be elected if he secure more votes than any other contestant.

  • In majority voting system the candidate is elected only if he secured more votes than all other candidates that have participated in the election
