The road not taken is a very beautiful poem written by Robert Frost.

In the poem the poet was standing in the forest where road is divided in two directions. The poet is confused which way he has to choose for the further journey.

The poet observed both the roads and he found that one road was quite used one. It seems that many people have travelled through that road. The road shows that may be this is simple and easy road that's why many people have chosen it. On the other hand the second road was quite new, full of grass. After observing that read it seems that hardly anyone has used or selected that way. So it shows that there will be lot of problems or obstacles in this way that's why people didn't choose this way.

The poet decided that he should go with the way which is not used by many people. Though he knew that there will be lot of problems and obstacles in his way but the poet is ready to face all the obstacles to reach is destination.

He thinks that next day he will choose the used road but at the same time he is also sure that he will not come back to choose that way. Finally it has been observed that both the ways reach to the same destination.
