what is the different between the bank loan taken directly and through self help grops

Diff bw banks and SHGs:-

1. When we take loan from bank tgen we have to pay them a high amount of interest while self help groups lay minimum interest rates on the loan taken.

2. Banks ask for proper details about the person regarding his income, family, tax payments, adhaar card , pan card , rashan cards...and many more but there no such do documentation done by SHGs.

3. A valuable collatrol is also to be given by the loan taker to the bank which is taken to be at a safer side because if borrower does not pay the loan back then the collatrol it sold in return of money but there are no such demands by SHGs.
