What is the electrovalency of CaF2.

Electrovalency- The number of electrons lost or gained by an element to achieve nearest noble gas configuration is called electrovalency of that atom.

In CaF2, Two F atoms will gain an electron each, = -1.

While Ca will lose its 2 electrons = +2.
