To answer this question we need to get the formulas of getting the equivalent  capacitance when the capacitors are in series and in parallel.

The formulas are as follows :

1) Series

Let A and B be two capacitors in series.

Their equivalent capacitance is given by :

1/C(equivalent capacitance) = 1/B + 1/C

2) Parallel

Let A and B be two capacitors in parallel.

Their equivalent capacitance is given by :

C(equivalent) = A + B

Applying this we have :

8 and 4 are in series hence equivalent capacitance = 1/(1/8 + 1/4) = 2 2/3

4 and 2.67 are in parallel hence equivalent capacitance = 2 2/3 + 4 = 6 2/3

6 2/3 , 12 and 16 are in series :

Hence equivalent capacitance =  1/(1/6 2/3 + 1/12 + 1/16) = 3.38

Answer : 3.38
