Before I tell about irrational number lets see what is rational number...

Rational number>>

=> It is a number which is written in fractional form.

=> The denominator and numerator should be integers.

=> The denominator can be any number except 0.

Now irrational number...

irrational number is the number which don't follow the points of rational number.

=> In irrational number the number won't be in fractional form...

=> Also the denominator can be 0.

=> Examples of irrational numbers

=> $\pi$ (3.1416)

=>$\sqrt{2}$
