What is the full form of LAN and WAN ? 1

Computer network in two banks situated in two different cities about 100km apart, are

WAN: Wide Area Network

LAN stands for Local area network.

WAN stands for Wireless area network.
Since they r connected through telephone wire they are called DSL. ( DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE )
and they can also be connected through modem
