The Oviduct is the tube that links the ovary to the uterus and which the ovulated oocyte travels down to become fertilised by sperm present in the female tract. It is also refered to as the Fallopian tube, Uterine tube or Ovarian tube

Ovum ( eggs) are made in ovaries and they are realsed every month through oviduct.
The fusion of male and female gamete take place in oviduct and as a result fertilisation occur and embryo is formed, if the male gamete provide it's sperm.
The releasation of eggs is called ovulation.
